Our enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional telephone number, equipment and quantities, preferred hire dates, duration, job postcode or location, and any notes you choose to provide. Please do not include payment card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information in the form. Information is also provided when you contact us by telephone or email.

Purposes and lawful bases

We use enquiry details to answer your questions, check equipment availability, prepare quotes and discuss collection or delivery. Where you request a hire for yourself, this is necessary to take steps towards a contract or fulfil that contract. For business representatives and general enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to customers and running our hire service. Records needed for accounting or other legal duties are processed to meet those obligations. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Who receives your information

The website form sends your details through FormSubmit to our business email inbox. See FormSubmit’s privacy information. Our website hosting and email providers may process technical information and messages to operate their services. Relevant staff and, where needed for an agreed hire, delivery providers may receive the details needed to fulfil your request. Professional advisers or public authorities may receive information where necessary for advice, a legal obligation or a legal claim.

Hosting and overseas processing

The site is hosted through Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting, form and email services may use infrastructure outside the UK. The locations and transfer arrangements depend on each provider. Contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your enquiry. FormSubmit’s published privacy information does not specify its processing locations or a UK transfer mechanism.

How long information is kept

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to answer the enquiry and deal with related follow-up. If it leads to a hire, relevant records may be needed for the hire, accounting obligations, complaints or legal claims. Retention depends on the purpose, any applicable legal requirement and whether a dispute is ongoing; information no longer needed should be deleted.
